Before selling, study your map and zoom in on different regions. Hover over zones, such as The Giant's Leap in Skull and Bones, to see a list of Skull and Bones Items items. On the right side of the screen, you’ll find sections labeled “In Plentiful Supply” and “Highest In Demand.” Items listed under “Highest In Demand” fetch higher prices in that region, whereas those “In Plentiful Supply” sell for much less. Keep in mind that you need to explore these areas to unlock this information; a single visit won’t suffice.
When you reach a port, transfer the commodities you intend to sell from your cargo to the port. Most ports feature two merchants: one by the docks and another at the inland camp. Check both before selling, and pay attention to the arrows underneath each item. Red, downward-pointing arrows indicate lower prices, while one or two upward-facing green arrows signify higher profits.
Maximizing Profits with the Commodity Trader
Generally, the Commodity Trader is your best option for sales. As you navigate the game, you’ll encounter various loot, and it’s up to you to identify the best places to buy and sell these items wisely. Also, keep an eye out for items in high supply at the Commodity Trader. Purchasing these items cheaply and selling them in cheapest Skull and Bones Items areas with higher demand can significantly boost your profits if you monitor port needs carefully.
